These terms apply when you buy from this site or use it. They are written to be read, so there is no capitalised block and no clause that exists only to be skipped.
Who you are contracting with
Disruptive Templates is a trading name of Umair Sajid Ltd. Where these terms say we, us or our, they mean that company. Where they say you, they mean the person placing the order.
You can reach us at any time at hi@disruptivetemplates.com, and that address is the correct one for orders, licensing, legal notices and complaints alike.
What we sell
We sell digital documents: resume templates written for a specific job title, together with cover letters, guides, bullet point libraries and related job hunting material. Nothing on this site is a physical product and nothing is posted.
We do not provide a resume writing service, career advice tailored to you, recruitment, or any guarantee of employment. What each package contains is listed in full on the what is included page.
Placing an order
Adding an item to the cart is not an order. The contract is formed when your payment is authorised and we confirm the order on screen and by email.
You must be at least 18, or old enough to enter a contract where you live, and the payment method must be yours to use.
We may refuse or cancel an order where the price was displayed incorrectly, where payment fails or is reversed, where we suspect fraud, or where the order appears to be for resale. If we cancel and you have paid, you get the money back in full.
Prices and payment
Prices are shown in United States dollars and are the same for every job title. The price you see at checkout is the price charged, and any discount code is applied before you pay rather than afterwards.
Payment is handled by our payment provider. Card details are entered on their systems and never reach ours. Your bank sets its own conversion rate if you pay in another currency, and any charge it adds for that is between you and your bank.
Sales tax or VAT is applied where it is due, based on the country you give at checkout.
Delivery
Download links appear on the order confirmation screen as soon as payment clears, and are sent to the email address on the order. Downloads are unlimited and have no expiry date.
It is your responsibility to give a working email address. If the confirmation does not arrive, check the spam folder and then write to us with the order number.
Cancellation and refunds
Because the files are delivered immediately, you agree at checkout that the download may start straight away and that you lose the right to cancel by doing so. That consent is recorded with the order.
Refund requests must be made within 7 days of the order. Approved refunds are processed within 1 to 4 weeks. The full position, including the cases where we always refund, is on the refund policy page, which forms part of these terms.
Nothing here removes your statutory rights where the product is faulty, not as described or not fit for purpose.
Licence to use the files
You are buying a personal use licence, not the copyright. The full terms are on the licence page and form part of this contract. In short: use them for your own job hunt without limit, and do not resell, redistribute or use them to produce resumes for other people.
Using the site
You may browse, search and buy. You may not scrape the catalogue, copy the product descriptions, attempt to reach files you have not paid for, or interfere with how the site runs.
The site content, including the product pages, the guidance and the images, belongs to us and is not yours to republish.
What we are and are not responsible for
We are responsible for supplying files that work and that match their description, and for putting it right when they do not.
We are not responsible for the outcome of your job applications. Hiring depends on the market, the employer, the other applicants and a decision made by people we have never met. No template can promise an interview and we do not.
We do not claim that any file will pass a particular applicant tracking system. No such system publishes a pass mark. We follow the formatting rules that avoid the known failures and we say so plainly.
Nothing in these terms limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud, or for anything else that cannot lawfully be limited. Subject to that, our total liability for any order is limited to what you paid for it.
Changes to the templates and these terms
We improve templates over time. The files you downloaded remain yours, and where a meaningful update lands for a job title you bought, it appears on the same download link.
We may change these terms. The version that applies to your order is the one published when you placed it, and the date at the top of this page tells you when it last moved.
Complaints
Write to hi@disruptivetemplates.com with your order number. We aim to acknowledge within one working day and to resolve within five. If we have got something wrong, saying so and fixing it is cheaper for us than arguing about it.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales and the courts of England and Wales have jurisdiction. If you are a consumer living elsewhere, this does not take away the protections available to you under the law of the country you live in.
If any part of these terms is found to be unenforceable, the rest continues to apply.
