Every package here arrives with the work experience section already written for one job title, at four levels of experience, so you are editing finished sentences instead of starting from nothing.

Career Kit, for most people. The single template is enough if you already know exactly what you want to say and only need it laid out properly. The moment you are unsure how to phrase five years of work, or you are applying at a different level than last time, the bullet library is the part that does the work. Take the bundle only if you are genuinely applying for more than one job title.

No. Checkout works as a guest and asks for an email address so the download links have somewhere to go. If you would rather have an account you can create one, and your orders and download links sit in it, but nothing here requires it.

No. Every package on this site is a digital download. Nothing is printed, nothing ships, and checkout does not ask for a postal address because there is nowhere to send anything.

You can, and the links work on any device. Editing is another matter. A .docx opens in the Word or Google Docs app on a phone, but replacing bracketed numbers and checking where the page breaks is far easier on a laptop. Download on the phone if you must, finish on a computer.

Small. A single template is a few hundred kilobytes and a full Career Kit is a handful of megabytes, because it is documents rather than images. The Profession Bundle arrives as zip files, one per job title, so it stays tidy on a slower connection.

Tell us which file and what happens when you open it. Ninety nine times in a hundred it is a partial download and downloading again fixes it. If it is genuinely a broken file we will replace it or refund you, and we would rather you told us than quietly gave up on it.

Anything you edit is a .docx. Anything you only read is a .pdf. The application tracker is an .xlsx, and the Profession Bundle is delivered as .zip files, one per job title. There are no proprietary formats, no design software, and nothing that needs an app you do not already have.

No. A .docx opens in Word, Google Docs and Apple Pages, and the last two are free. Google Docs is the simplest route if you have no Office licence: upload the file, edit it in the browser, then download as PDF when you are finished.

Not if you replace text rather than rebuild the page. The document is a single column with standard heading styles, so typing over existing text keeps everything aligned. The quick start guide names the two or three things that do cause trouble, and the fix for each.

They mark every number and detail that has to become yours. A bullet reads that you handled [X] accounts a month rather than a made up figure, so nothing on the page is a claim until you make it one. Search the document for the opening bracket and you will find every one of them.

The words this job is screened on, grouped into job titles, hard skills and tools, with a note on where each group belongs on the page. It exists because keyword matching rewards the exact phrasing used in the advert, and guessing at that phrasing is where most applications quietly lose points.

Rewriting your own history, not inventing one. The prompts take what you have actually done and put it into the language this role is described in, which is the part people get wrong when they ask a chatbot for a resume and get back a fluent page of things they never did.

A spreadsheet with a row per application: company, title, date sent, stage, follow up date and outcome. It exists because after the twentieth application nobody remembers who they chased and who they did not, and that is usually where an interview gets lost.

It is built for one: single column, standard section headings, real selectable text and Calibri throughout, with no tables, text boxes, columns, headers or icons for the parser to trip over. No system publishes a pass mark, so nobody honest can promise you a score. What we can say is that these are the rules that avoid the common failures.

Because the first reader is software and the second is a person skimming for fifteen seconds. Neither is impressed by a sidebar. A designed page looks better on your screen and worse on theirs, and every visual flourish is one more thing that can arrive as scrambled text at the other end.

PDF, unless the advert or the portal asks for Word. A PDF looks the same everywhere and cannot be edited by accident. Where a job board specifically requests .doc or .docx, send that instead, and the file you downloaded is already in the right format.

One page if you have under about ten years of relevant history, two if you have more or if the role expects depth. Both versions are in every package precisely so you do not have to guess. When in doubt send the one page: nobody has ever complained that a resume was too easy to read.

In the United States, the United Kingdom, Canada and Ireland, no. It invites discrimination claims and many systems strip images anyway. In parts of Europe and Asia a photo is expected, and if you are applying there, put one in the space at the top rather than beside the text.

Every bracketed number, the employers, the dates, and anything that is not true of you. Beyond that, less than you think. The bullets are written as verbs and outcomes rather than duties, and rewriting them in your own voice usually turns them back into duties.

Take the closest one and change the heading. The bullets describe the work, not the label, and most titles are the same job under a different name. Start from your industry or field to find the nearest match, and if it is genuinely missing, tell us and it goes on the list to be written.

Only the parts in brackets: the company, the role, and the one line about why that employer. It is written in the same voice as the resume on purpose, so the two read as one application rather than two documents that met at the last minute.

Personal use, for your own job hunt, for as long as it takes. There is no limit on how many applications you send, how long you keep the files, or how much you rewrite them. What it does not cover is passing the files on, selling them, or using them to produce resumes for other people.

Send them the link rather than the file. The licence covers one person, and a five dollar template is not the thing to fall out over. If you are buying for someone else, buy it in your name and give them the files: that is a gift, not redistribution.

Not on the personal use licence. If you are a careers adviser, a coach, an outplacement firm or a recruiter who wants to use these with the people you support, write to us and we will sort out a licence that actually covers it rather than leaving you on one that does not.

Digital downloads set aside the standard fourteen day cancellation right, and you agree to that at checkout so the files can be released immediately. That does not affect your legal rights. If a file does not open, or it is not what the page described, tell us and we will fix it or refund you.

Because the download starts the moment you pay, and consumer law asks you to agree to that before it happens. The box is the record that you did. It is one sentence, it is not buried, and it is the reason the files can reach you in seconds rather than after a waiting period.

The email address carries your order and the download links. That is the reason it is collected. Payment details are handled by the payment provider and never reach us. We do not sell anything to anyone, and there is no requirement to be on a mailing list to buy.

Reply to your order email with the order number and what went wrong, and describe it plainly rather than politely. Broken file, wrong job title, link not working, a bullet that reads oddly for your industry, all of it is worth telling us. Answers usually come back the same working day.
